I have always lived in the United States. I grew up in a very rural area on the East Coast. I now live in a big city in a desert in the Southwest with my husband and two gigantic cats.

Some of my favorite games are The Curse of Monkey Island, Psychonauts, Beyond Good and Evil, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, and Banjo Kazooie… and The Wind Waker and Shadow of the Colossus.

Besides video games, I like to bake and do all sorts of art. My current favorite thing to bake is my mom’s Chocolate Crinkle Cookies. I also make scrumptious lasagna, chicken pot pie, and an array of delicious desserts.

I also love animated movies. Some of my favorites are Ratatouille, The Secret of NIMH, Beauty and the Beast, and Howl’s Moving Castle.

I am a feminist. I believe that violence and abuse against women is intolerable. I have a special interest in the portrayal of women in entertainment, focusing on video games.

My favorite poem is T. S. Elliot’s The Hollow Men.

My favorite book is Alexandre Dumas’ The Count of Monte Cristo.
